Leslie Ann Weidner Memorial Scholarship Fund

Leslie Weidner was a member of Pardes Levavot since shortly after our founding, and attended when her health allowed. She died on December 30, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer, and was an inspiration in her life to those who were privileged to know her.
Her family wanted to contribute in a meaningful way to the congregation that she felt was her Jewish home. Reb Victor and Reb Nadya developed this idea with John, her husband, and Sid and Marsha Hirsh, her parents.
The fund provides scholarships to our post-Bnai Mitvah youth to attend Jewish leadership programs, summer camps and Israel programs or trips.
If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please write to info@pardeslevavot.org.
At Shepherd of the Hills and Pardes Levavot, we work together to provide help for those in need. If you or someone you know is struggling with food insecurity, please stop by to access our "Little Free Pantry" in the Church/Synagogue parking lot. All pantry items are available 24/7 to anyone in need, whether for a moment or on an ongoing basis. The pantry is restocked regularly through the donations of both our members and our neighbors. Should you need additional assistance, please contact the Church Office at 303-530-4422 to request a conversation about how we might be able to help. Masks for in-person meetings are available in the Church Office, if needed.
